The Red-headed Woodpecker Recovery (RhWR) was established in 2006 as a Special Committee of the Audubon Chapter of Minneapolis and became a nonprofit corporation in 2024. Our focus is the recovery of the Red-head Woodpecker in Minnesota and the Midwest.
